NUMERICAL METHODS FOR ENGINEERS
About Course
Numerical methods for engineers refer to the mathematical techniques and algorithms used to solve engineering problems through numerical approximation and computation. These methods are essential in engineering disciplines where analytical solutions are often complex or impossible to obtain. Engineers employ numerical methods to analyze and simulate various phenomena, design systems, and make informed decisions.
Student will be able to understand the basic concept associated with Numerical Analysis: including numerical integration, differentiation, root-finding algorithms, matrix manipulations, interpolation, and solving differential equations.
Student will be able to use numerical methods in diverse fields such as structural analysis, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, electromagnetics, and control systems. By relying on numerical simulations and computations, engineers can test hypotheses, validate designs, and ensure the safety and efficiency of their projects.
